Core Publisher: What is a Program Promo Block?

There are three treatments for the Promotional Block -- Large Image Promo, Small Image Promo and Program Promo.

The purpose of the Program Promo Block is to promote the programs that you air on your station, both local and syndicated. The Program Promo Block displays the title of the program, logo, description and the three most recent posts related to the program (where applicable), pulled directly from your Program Pages. You can choose to create separate Program Promo Blocks for each program that you want to promote on your homepage, or add multiple programs to one block that your users can manually scroll through.

In Region A:

In Region A, the Program Promo Block spans the full width of the region (on desktop). The text, image and button are all left aligned.

In Region B:

Because Region B is a skinnier region, the program logo, title, description and list of posts become stacked to improve readability.

In Region C:

Because Region C is a larger region that spans the entire width of homepage, the size of the block in this region is a bit larger.
