As of January 2018, more than 120 public radio stations have joined the Apple Music NPR News and Culture channel, representing the full fabric of public radio station sizes and markets. Now, four years after the launch of the Apple Music NPR News and Culture channel, there are new opportunities, making it even more valuable for eligible stations to have their streams in Apple Music. Apple has announced its next step: the new HomePod smart speaker, which will offer the same "play the news" experience as the iPhone.
