Core Publisher: Why is a non-station staff person, or a syndicated reporter showing up on my main People page?

Why is a non-station staff person, or a syndicated reporter showing up on my main People page?

If you are a NPR Member Station, you have access to publish content from syndicated NPR programs (like Morning Edition and All Things Considered) and NPR.org to your Core Publisher site through the NPR Story API. You can also pull in Posts from other NPR stations that share their content in the NPR Story API.

When you manually publish a Post, or a story auto-publishes to your site from the NPR Story API a People Page for the author of the article is automatically added to your site as well. As more content is added to your site, you will see this section grow.  This makes it easier for your visitors to find stories related to a specific author.

All People Pages from the NPR Story API are listed in both the All and Syndicated tabs at your [your website URL]/people page.
