Managing Pending Venues
There are three options for each venue on the Manage Venues Pending Approval page -- Approve, Edit, and Delete.
  • Approving a venue publishes it so that it will display in the Venue field autocomplete dropdown when new events are created. Note: We recommend checking your list of all venues before approving a new venue to avoid duplicates.
  • Use the Edit option to make any changes to a submitted venue.
  • Use the Delete option to remove any venue that you do not want to add to the Community Calendar from your site.

 
When browsing on the All Unapproved Venues page, click on the Venue column header to sort by that column. The [ID #####] that displays next to the venue name is the specific ID associated with that venue in your calendar. Use this ID to tell your venues apart when managing duplicates.
 
How to approve a pending venue:
  1. Click on the Manage # venue(s) pending approval link under Approve Events.
  2. Click on the Approve button in the Actions column to approve your venue.
How to edit a pending venue:
  1. Click on the Manage # venue(s) pending approval link under Approve Events.
  2. Click on the Edit button in the Actions column to go to the Edit Venue page for your venue.
  3. Make any edits to your event information.
  4. Click on the Save button to save changes to your venue.
How to delete a pending venue:
  1. Click on the Manage # venues(s) pending approval link under Approve Events.
  2. Click on the Delete button in the Actions column to delete your event.
  3. Confirm that you want to delete your venue by clicking on the Delete link on the Confirm Deletion page. Note: If the venue that you are deleting is already associated with published events, you will be prompted to select a new venue to be used in place of it.
