The main Community Calendar page “lives” at [your Core Publisher website URL]/community-calendar.

At this page, site visitors are able to see a list of all upcoming events, as well as more information about each event, including:
  • The title of the event
  • The date of the event
  • The time that the event takes place
  • When/If the event reoccurs
  • The category of the event/what type of event it is

Underwriting/ad units from DoubleClick for Publisher (DFP) appear in the right column on your Community Calendar pages. If you have underwriting that is set to “run of site”, it will automatically display on your Community Calendar pages as well. You can also target ads to Community Calendar pages specifically. When setting up the targeting in DFP, the Key is ‘Type’ and the Value is ‘community-calendar’.

Clicking on the title of any event will take a user to the event detail page, where they can read more specific information about the event:
  • How much tickets to the event cost
  • Information about the event venue, including the location on a map
  • A description of the event
  • Information about the event presenter and sponsor

There is also an RSS feed for your main Upcoming Events feed, located at [your Core Publisher website URL]/community-calendar/rss
