Core Publisher: What is a Large Image Promo Block?

There are three treatments for the Promotional Block -- Large Image Promo, Small Image Promo and Program Promo.

The Large Image Promo Block is effective for creating eye-catching visuals to promote both news and station/programming-focused initiatives. All elements of a Large Image Promo Block can be customized.

In Region A:

In Region A, the Large Image Promo Block spans the full width of the region (on desktop). It is most effective when used with large high quality, eye grabbing images and text with a strong call to action.

In Region B:

In Region B, the image is smaller, but spans the entire width of the block. A Large Image Promo Block with only an image and link can look similar to an underwriting space. Region B is an great place to put several promotional blocks.

In Region C:

Because Region C is a larger region that spans the entire width of homepage, the size of the block in this region is a bit larger. However, the block does not span the entire width of the region. A Large Image Promo block with text only (no image) can also work effectively in this region as well.
