Community Calendar: Searching for Calendar Content in the Admin

How to find calendar content (events, categories, venues, organizations)

The Find/Edit Content section includes links for your station staff to quickly and easily search for events, venue, calendar categories and presenting organizations. You will be able to see a list of each type of content, as well as links to approve pending items.
 
Find/Edit Upcoming Events:
Click on the Upcoming Events link to access your Events page. You can edit or delete any approved or pending events that haven’t occurred yet, or are recurring in the future, as well as sort them alphabetically or by category, date, submission date or status (approved or pending).

There are two options for each event on the Events page -- Edit and Delete.
  • Use the Edit option to make any changes to a submitted venue.
  • Use the Delete option to remove any venue that you do not want to add to the Community Calendar from your site.
 
Click on the title of an event in the Event column to view the event as it will display for your web visitors on your site.
 
Find/Edit Venues:
Click on the Venues link to access your Venues page. You can edit or delete any approved or pending venues, as well as sort them alphabetically or by status (approved or pending).

  • Use the Edit option to make any changes to a submitted venue.
  • Use the Delete option to remove any venue that you do not want to be available to be associated with events in your Community Calendar.
 
Find/Edit Calendar Categories: 

Click on the Calendar Categories link to access your Calendar Categories page. You can edit or delete any created categories, as well as sort them alphabetically.

  • Use the Delete option to remove any category that you do not want to be available to be associated with events in your Community Calendar.
Find/Edit Presenting Organizations: 

Click on the Presenting Organizations link to access your Presenting Organizations page. You can edit or delete any approved or pending organizations, as well as sort them alphabetically or by status (approved or pending).

There are two options for each presenting organization on the Presenting Organizations page -- Edit and Delete.
  • Use the Edit option to make any changes to a submitted presenting organization.
  • Use the Delete option to remove any organization that you do not want to be available to be associated with events in your Community Calendar.
 
Find/Edit Past Events: 

Click on the Past Events link to access your Past Events page to see a list of all of the events that have been created on your site that dates that occurred in the past. You can edit or delete any past events, as well as sort them alphabetically or by category, date, submission date or status (approved or pending).
 
Note: Past events are not available for your web visitors to access through the calendar search options but are indexed by search engines for access through the Core Publisher site search or other search engines.

Use the Past Events page to browse through all events of your events that have occurred. Use the Delete option to remove any events that you no longer want associated with your Community Calendar.
