Create New Presenting Organization

The Presenting Organization is the company or organization that is hosting an event. The presenting organization includes the name, phone number, email address and website of the organization. The presenting organization displays under the Event Description section of a live event on your site.
Creating a new Presenting Organization will add it to the autocomplete Presenting Organization field on the event submission form. New organizations are added to your list in two ways:
  1. When someone adds new presenting organization information into the Submit Event form for a new event.
  2. When someone manually creates a new presenting organization by using the Create Presenting Organization form under Add Content on the Manage Community Calendar page (following the steps below). 
To create a new presenting organization:

Note: All fields with a red asterisk (*) are required to save your new organization.
  1. Select the Create New Presenting Organization option under Add Content on the Manage Community Calendar page.
  2. Enter the name of your organization in the Name of Organization field.
  3. Enter the phone number for your organization in the Phone field.
  4. Enter the email address for your organization in the Email field.
  5. Add the full URL (including the http://) of the website for your new venue in the Website field.
  6. Select either the N/A, Not for Profit or For-profit radio button to note the organization’s Designation.
  7. Select the Pending Status to add your venue to a list to be approved at a later time. Select Approved to immediately add your new venue to the autocomplete Venue field on the event submission form.
  8. Click on the Save button to save your new event venue.
